3 Radiant Sunflowers Card Ideas with Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Fields Suite

There is just something about sunflowers that works beautifully for fall cards—and these Radiant Sunflowers products give you so many different ways to use them!

Three handmade Radiant Sunflowers cards featuring the Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Fields Suite, including a masked sunflower bouquet, an embossed sunflower card, and a gatefold fun fold with layered die-cut sunflowers.

For this class, I created three cards featuring the Stampin’ Up! Radiant Sunflowers Bundle and Sunflower Fields Suite. Rather than making three similar cards, I wanted to show how versatile the products can be.

We stamped, masked, colored, embossed, die cut and even made a fun fold before the night was over!

If you like to craft along with me, grab your supplies and watch the class above. I walk through each project from beginning to end and share plenty of little tips as we go.

Card 1: Masked Radiant Sunflowers

Handmade Radiant Sunflowers card featuring a masked and colored sunflower bouquet with Golden Glow floral paper and a Wishing You So Much Happiness sentiment.

The first card is the simplest layout of the three, but the stamped sunflower bouquet makes it look anything but simple.

I used masking to overlap the individual sunflower images and leaves so they appear to form one large bouquet. This is such a useful stamping technique because you can create a completely different arrangement every time.

After stamping, I colored the flowers with Stampin’ Blends, using Golden Glow for the petals and several brown tones for the centers.

And yes, I managed to get a little extra black ink where I didn't want it. My solution? Strategically placed embellishments. 😜 Sometimes an oops is simply an opportunity to add something pretty!

Card 2: Sunflowers with Designer Series Paper and Embossing

Handmade Radiant Sunflowers card with colored sunflower bouquet, Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper, embossed Secret Sea background and Hello Friend greeting.

For the second card I changed things up by combining several textures.

One side features Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper while the other uses cardstock embossed with the large sunflower image from the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder.

I stamped and colored the floral bouquet, cut it out and layered it across the two backgrounds. The “Hello, friend” greeting fits beautifully beside it, and a little jute bow adds even more texture.

One tip from the video: when using a deep 3D embossing folder, I sometimes lightly spritz the cardstock with water before embossing. It can help the paper move into those deep impressions.

Card 3: Radiant Sunflowers Gatefold Card

Radiant Sunflowers gatefold card in Pecan Pie with layered die-cut sunflowers, sunflower patterned paper, belly band and Thinking of You sentiment.

Of course, I had to finish with a fun fold!

This gatefold card uses Pecan Pie cardstock and coordinating sunflower paper on the front panels.

The removable belly band is the real star. I layered die-cut sunflower pieces to create fuller flowers, added leaves behind them and built the arrangement around the “Thinking of You” greeting.

I also gently shaped some of the petals instead of leaving all the die cuts completely flat. That little bit of shaping gives the bouquet noticeably more dimension.

The belly band slides off so the two gatefold panels can open to reveal the inside of the card.

And you'll see another real-life crafting moment inside this one. I accidentally got ink on the cardstock, so instead of starting over, I added more stamped sunflower images and made it look intentional.

When in doubt…keep stamping. 😂

So Many Ways to Use Radiant Sunflowers

One of my favorite things about this class is that the three cards don't rely on the same technique.

I used:

• Stamping and masking
• Stampin’ Blends coloring
• Designer Series Paper
• 3D embossing
• Coordinating dies
• Layered die-cut flowers
• A gatefold fun fold
• A removable belly band

The Radiant Sunflowers Bundle includes the stamp set and coordinating dies, and the larger Sunflower Fields Suite adds coordinating Designer Series Paper, specialty foil paper, ribbon and Radiant Gems. The suite and bundle are currently listed as available from Stampin’ Up! as of October 1, 2026.
