Good Things Come In Small Packages

At least that's what my mom always said!  This gift bag was a fun one I made while at the craft show last weekend.  I was my first try with the Gift Bag Punch Board.  It was quick and easy.  Fun too!   You can make bags in several sizes. This one is about 2.5" wide, 2" deep, and 4" tall.  What would you like to find in a gift bag like this?

The gift bag is 30% off until Midnight tonight (11/21/16).   Here is a list of all the sale items for Stampin' Up!'s Online Extravaganza!  Some products are on sale all week and some for just 24 hours!

Who loves a Sale? I do!

The following is my latest newsletter!

Stampin’ Up! has an incredible sale going on right now and another one starting on Monday!  So as of Monday both sales will be in effect!  I’ve attached the PDF for the Online Extravaganza that starts on Monday as well as the Stitched Framelits and coordinating stamps on sale now!
You don’t have to wait until Monday to shop though!  I went through the lists and added the items I know will be on sale on Monday (and several that won’t) into my shopping cart after logging in.  I added the November host code VXJVAD32 and then signed out.  Then on Monday, all I need to do is double check my shopping cart, add more items if they had a special sale item number, and then checkout!

Classes WILL be happening in December!  Yay!  I have reserved the Senior Center in Circle for the evenings of the 1st, 8th, and 15th!  I will be sending more information out to you very soon!  One class will be a bag and tag class to help with your holiday gift wrapping, and the other two will be Christmasy too.  We will use the County Living set and Jars of Love sets after the holidays.
I realize that December 8th is the K-6 Christmas program, so if there are not enough people who RSVP for that night, I will try to choose another time.

I went to a very fun Craft-a-rama Show in Forsyth.  It was great to meet new people and share my love for Stampin’ Up!  Several have joined this newsletter so Welcome!  If any of these classes sound fun, Forsyth friends, you are very welcome to come to Circle or if you could help me find a location there, I would be happy to come down there again!  I’ve sent my door prize winner a separate email asking for an address to mail the prize.Holiday16_142994_2-146.jpg

Look at the Forever Evergreen Project Kit(142994) on page of the Holiday Catalog.  It is a wonderful kit to decorate with!  It will be on the sale beginning Monday.  If you would like to get together and assemble these beautiful trees, I would be very excited to help do this!  Order your kit or send me an email to order one for you with payment.  Once we have the kits, we will set a time to put them together.  Each kit contains 3 trees - one stands 13” and two stand 11”.  They would be perfect for a small place like an apartment, office, dorm, or nursing home.
There is a coordinating stamp set (142184) to complete the trees as seen here.  If several of you would be interested in sharing the cost of this set, let me know and I can work with you.
I will be at the Circle Santa Day Vendor Show at Circle Country Market Banquet Room on December 3 from 10-2.  I will have lots of stocking stuffers, kits, and many other items for sale.  December 3 is not too late to order catalog items for you or another crafty person for Christmas!
Give me your wish list and I will contact your people to help them shop for you!

Happy crafting!

Behind on your scrapbooking?

The simplicity Project Life by Stampin' Up! is what I found that I needed!  I am a traditional scrapbooker at heart, but teaching full-time, helping the Farmer, being a happy shopper with Stampin' Up!, AND being a mom to 3 teenagers, I didn't have time.  Enter Project Life!  It is a photo-safe, pocket memory keeping system.  It is so simple and fast!  My pages are done quickly!  The pages below took 15 minutes to complete.  Most of that time was spent selecting photos and cropping them down for the smaller pockets and journaling.  If I ever want to go back and redo the pages, I can (but chances are, that won't happen!).  Stampin' Up! carries 12" x 12" and 6" x 8" albums.  They carry an array of pages too!  There are also punches, pens, Framelits, stamps, and, of course, Project Life Card Collections and accessories!  The products are on pages 162-167 in the Annual Catalog and on page 31 in the Holiday Catalog.  Let me know if you would like a complimentary catalog.

My son has to do a Senior Scrapbook, and Project Life is what he will be using!  I can't wait to see how his turns out!

Here are a few of the products to get you started!

Are You a Happy Shopper? I am!

I became a demonstrator because I loved the products!  No one I knew was selling it anymore so I decided to join.  I called around to demonstrators in nearby towns to see who would be the best to join under.  I left a few messages, spoke to one gal, and signed under her.  I've never spoken to her since.  That was March 2012.

It was a struggle at first.  I didn't really have a direction and my mother's health was failing.  I became my own best customer to meet my minimums.  That fall I decided to invite a few friends to a class. Since then I've offered classes as often as I could and have done vendor shows in the fall and spring when I can.  I've built a nice business.

Recently I've been taking classes on how to be a more knowledgeable Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I've learned so much!  (Thank you, Janet!)  Some of the things that I have learned are:

*Any time is a good time to join Stampin' Up!, but there are some GREAT times.  For example, if you join now, you have until the end of March to meet your minimum ($300) for your first full quarter (Jan-March).  That's over 5 months!  Everything you buy or sell until the end of March counts toward that $300 including Paper Pumpkin subscriptions.

*Once you join, there is no obligation to stay a demonstrator.  There are many opportunities, but no obligation.

*When you join, you get $125 worth of product that you pick for $99 with free shipping.

*You also begin to earn Flex Points.  If you earn enough Flex Points from Oct 1 - Sept 30,2017 , you could earn a trip for 2 on an Alaskan Cruise.  There are many other things you can earn.  (This year I earned $80+ worth of free product that I choose whenever I want.) There are extra ways to earn Flex Points for new demos.

*You start earning 20% off all your purchases.

*You start earning 20% from all your customers purchases too.  In time, you could earn more.

*You can earn Stampin' Rewards just like your customers.

*You get to preview and order a month before your customers from new catalogs.

*If you join someone's team, there is help and many perks to getting started.

*Both you and the person whose team you joined get extra perks as well.

*MOST people who join do so as Happy Shoppers and don't really intend to make it a business.  It is always an option, but never necessary.

I'm looking for Happy Shoppers to join my team.  I'd love to share this experience with you!  Maybe even a cruise to Alaska!  Contact me today or click on my Stampin' Up! page tab at the top and click Join The Fun!

Framelits Storage Made Simple

Framelit storage is easy as long as you don't use the Framelit!  Once you pry the Framelit off the card and use it, storage becomes difficult.  They have a hard time sticking back on the card and end up sitting on the bottom of the package.

However, there is a simple, inexpensive way to store your Framelits and Thinlits!  I buy magnetic furnace vent covers at the local hardware store.  They come 3 in a package and are about 8" x 24".

Trace the card that comes from the Framelits. Then cut it out.

Put the Framelits on the magnetic sheet.  They are easy to remove and replace as needed.

Store back in their package and write the number of pieces on the outside just to keep track and make sure that you have all the pieces whenever you use them.   Enjoy your crafting!

New Little One?

One of the many things that I love about Stampin' Up! is that they offer a line of Project Life Memory Keeping products.  I made these albums for some new little babies who joined our world in May.  I used the 6"x 8" Kraft Album.  I filled it with 2 packages of pages and the Hello Baby Girl Project Life Card Collection and Accessory pack.  I decorated it using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, Timeless Textures Stamp Set, Sweet Sugarplum Ribbon, and Burlap Ribbon.  I used Sweet Sugarplum and Pink Pirouette cardstock.  Now the new busy moms just have to pop photos in the pockets, write some information on the cards, and the album is complete!  More time to spend with the little one!  Rumor has it that a grandma or two might want one too!

I'm still learning how to set up my blog page.  Until I get the correct buttons to work here and there, please contact me at CraftingWithMe@gmail.com.  You can also go to my Stampin' Up! page at www.CraftingWithMe.StampinUp.net to order or find more information about upcoming classes and other opportunities.
